Eligibility
- Nationality: Must be a citizen of India (or other eligible categories as per Govt. norms).
- Academic Qualification: Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
đAge Limit
The age limit is **18 to 27 years**. Age relaxations are applicable for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen) as per government rules.
đDetailed Syllabus
- General Intelligence: Verbal and non-verbal reasoning, including analogy, classification, series, coding-decoding, and spatial visualization.
- General Awareness: Static GK (History, Geography, Polity, Economics, Science) and Current Affairs. Emphasis is on general awareness from a broad perspective.
- Quantitative Aptitude: Basic arithmetic skills including Number Systems, Algebra, Geometry, Mensuration, Trigonometry, and Statistical Charts. (Class 10th level).
- English Language: Spot the Error, Fill in the Blanks, Synonyms/Antonyms, Spelling/Detecting mis-spelt words, Idioms & Phrases, Comprehension Passage.

The selection process is conducted in two tiers:
- Tier-I: Computer Based Examination (CBE). An objective multiple-choice exam that is qualifying in nature.
- Tier-II: Computer Based Examination (CBE). This stage is for merit calculation. It consists of objective multiple-choice questions and a Skill Test/Typing Test module which is qualifying in nature.
- Step 3: Document Verification. Candidates are called for document verification based on their performance in both tiers.

The salary varies based on the post. For a post in a metropolitan city, the in-hand starting salary is approximately:
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/JSA: âš30,000 - âš35,000 per month.

Scoring Pattern: There is **negative marking** for incorrect answers in both Tier-I (0.50 marks) and the objective part of Tier-II (1 mark).
