Eligibility (for Undergraduate)
- For B.Des (Bachelor of Design): Passed or appearing in the 10+2 examination from **any stream** (Science, Commerce, or Arts/Humanities).
- For B.F.Tech (Bachelor of Fashion Technology): Passed or appearing in the 10+2 examination with **Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM)** as compulsory subjects.
đAge Limit (for Undergraduate)
Yes, there is an age limit. The maximum age should be less than **24 years** as of 1st August of the admission year. A 5-year relaxation is given to SC/ST/PwD candidates.
đ¨Detailed Syllabus
The written exam has two parts: CAT and GAT.
- Creative Ability Test (CAT): This is a drawing test to evaluate intuition, power of observation, innovation in design development, and design ability. It tests color and illustration skills.
- General Ability Test (GAT):
- Quantitative Ability: Basic math of 10th level.
- Communication Ability & English Comprehension: Vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension.

The admission process is a two-stage examination:
- Stage 1: Written Examination. This consists of two tests held on the same day:

- Stage 2: Situation Test. Candidates shortlisted from the written exam are called for a hands-on test. They are given specific materials and asked to create a 3D model, which is evaluated on creativity, space visualization, and craftsmanship.
Note for B.F.Tech: Admission is based only on the GAT score. There is no CAT or Situation Test for B.F.Tech candidates.
