Eligibility
- Nationality: Must be an Indian Citizen, Non-Resident Indian (NRI), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Person of Indian Origin (PIO), or Foreign National.
- Academic Qualification: Must have passed or be appearing in the 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects.
- Marks: Minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCB for General category, 40% for SC/ST/OBC, and 45% for PwD.
๐Age Limit
The candidate must have completed **17 years** of age at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31st December of the year of admission. There is **no upper age limit**.
๐Detailed Syllabus
The syllabus is based on the Class XI and XII curriculum of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as prescribed by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Physics: Physical World and Measurement, Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Work, Energy and Power, Thermodynamics, Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetic Effects, Optics, Modern Physics.
- Chemistry: Structure of Atom, Chemical Bonding, States of Matter, Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Electrochemistry, Organic Chemistry (Hydrocarbons, Alcohols, etc.), Inorganic Chemistry (s, p, d, f block elements).
- Biology: Diversity in Living World, Cell Structure, Plant Physiology, Human Physiology, Reproduction, Genetics and Evolution, Biology and Human Welfare, Biotechnology, Ecology and Environment.

- Step 1: NEET-UG Written Examination. A single-day, pen-and-paper (OMR-based) offline examination.
- Step 2: Declaration of Results & All India Rank (AIR). The NTA declares the results and assigns an All India Rank to qualified candidates.
- Step 3: Counselling. Qualified candidates participate in online counselling for seat allotment. This is conducted separately by the DGHS for the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) and by respective state authorities for the 85% State Quota seats.
