Indian Council of Medical Research - Junior Research Fellowship (ICMR-JRF).

✅Eligibility

• Academic Qualification: M.Sc. / M.A. or equivalent degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Social Sciences, etc.
• Marks: A minimum of 55% aggregate marks for General/EWS/OBC category and 50% for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
• Final year students are also eligible to apply.

🎂Age Limit

3. Step 3: Fellowship Activation. Qualified candidates can activate their JRF by enrolling for a Ph.D. program in any ICMR-affiliated or recognized medical research institute or university in India.

💰Stipend & Fellowship (During Ph.D.)

Qualified candidates receive a monthly stipend as per Government of India norms.

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Approximately ₹37,000 per month for the first two years.
• Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Approximately ₹42,000 per month for the remaining tenure, plus other allowances like HRA.
