STATE TECHNICAL BOARD AFFILIATION: The state body that sets the syllabus and conducts exams for diploma courses. This makes your diploma valid within the state for jobs and higher education.
NAAC: (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) Grades the *entire college or university* on overall quality (e.g., A++, A+, B). A higher grade indicates a better quality institution.
NBA: (National Board of Accreditation) Grades *specific technical programs* (e.g., Diploma in Mechanical Engineering). It is a highly respected mark of quality for a particular course and is valued by companies.
