There is **no age limit** for appearing in the CMA Final exam.
The course is divided into two groups with four papers each, testing expert-level strategic knowledge:

Qualified CMAs are recruited for various strategic roles in the finance, accounts, and costing departments of companies, especially in the manufacturing and service sectors:
A CMA is a strategic-level professional who goes beyond traditional accounting. The role involves cost management, performance evaluation, strategic decision-making, and advising the management on pricing, budgeting, and business strategy to maximize profitability and efficiency.
Candidates must first register for the Final course with ICMAI after clearing the Intermediate level. Subsequently, they must fill a separate examination form online for each attempt.
The exam is conducted in an online, center-based mode.

Scoring Pattern: To pass a group, a candidate must obtain a minimum of **40% marks in each paper** AND a minimum of **50% marks in the aggregate** of that group. There is **no negative marking** in the objective (MCQ) part.
The duration for each of the eight papers is 3 hours (180 minutes).
The results for the June and December exams are typically declared by the last week of **August** and the last week of **February**, respectively (within 2 months).
The fee structure involves a one-time course registration fee (around โน25,000) and a separate examination fee for each attempt (around โน1,400 for one group or โน2,800 for both). These fees are subject to change by ICMAI.
