Admission is open for two classes:

Eligibility
- For Class VI: Both boys and girls can apply.
- For Class IX: Only boys can apply. Candidate must have passed Class VIII from a recognized school.
๐Age Limit
- For Class VI: A candidate should be between 10 and 12 years of age as on 31st March of the year of admission.
- For Class IX: A candidate should be between 13 and 15 years of age as on 31st March of the year of admission.

For Class VI:
- Mathematics: Topics from Class V CBSE syllabus, including Number System, LCM & HCF, Fractions, Decimals, Average, Percentage, Profit & Loss, Simple Interest, Geometry, and Mensuration.
- Intelligence: Analogies, Patterns (spatial and mathematical), Classification, Visual, Logical, and Reasoning questions.
- Language (English/Regional): Comprehension, Grammar, Sentence Formation, Antonyms, Synonyms, and Vocabulary.
- General Knowledge: Science, Social Studies (History, Geography, Civics), and Current Affairs.
For Class IX:
- Mathematics: Topics from Class VIII CBSE syllabus, including Rational Numbers, Exponents, Squares, Cubes, Algebra, Mensuration, Data Handling, and Geometry.
- Intelligence: Advanced Analogies, Patterns, Classification, and Logical/Verbal/Non-Verbal Reasoning.
- English: Advanced Comprehension, Grammar, Vocabulary, and Sentence Structure.
- General Science: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology topics from the Class VIII curriculum.
- Social Science: History, Geography, and Civics/Polity topics from the Class VIII curriculum.

The selection process consists of three main stages:
- Step 1: Written Examination (AISSEE). Candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in this OMR-based test.
- Step 2: Medical Examination. Shortlisted candidates undergo a thorough medical fitness test at designated military hospitals.
- Step 3: Final Merit List. The final merit list is prepared based on the marks in the written exam, medical fitness, reservation criteria, and school-wise vacancies.
